It started with a Christmas tree
The first Soapy Silhouette was a Christmas tree. Cut as a silhouette, printed on a 3D printer at home, and slid over a soap dispenser because the bathroom looked bare in December and buying a seasonal dispenser you throw away in January felt like a waste.
It worked. And it raised an obvious question: why does the whole dispenser have to be seasonal? Why not just the outside?
One dispenser. Everything else swaps.
That's the entire idea. The dispenser body stays on your counter. The cover slides off in seconds and the next one slides on. A Halloween silhouette in October, Welcome Fall in November, a spring floral in April — same dispenser, same spot, different mood.
Which means seasonal decor you use twice a day for two months, instead of storing it in a bin for ten.
It stopped being only about seasons
We started with the calendar, because the calendar is obvious. Then people wanted covers for things the calendar doesn't track.
So the line grew. Sixteen designs across three collections: Fun Holidays for Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's and the rest; Bright Seasons for winter, spring, summer and fall; and Sweet Expressions for the moods that aren't on any calendar at all — Beach Vibes, Under the Sea, Game On!, and It's Always 5 O'Clock Here.
Two Halloween designs exist, a scary one and a gentler one, because a parent told us their kid wouldn't wash their hands with the first one on the counter. That's the kind of thing we change the product for.
Still a family with a 3D printer
We are not a factory. Soapy Silhouette is a small family with a 3D printer, a design team we work closely with, and a lot of opinions about how a silhouette should sit on a curve.
Every design starts as a drawing, becomes a 3D model, and then becomes a physical cover we hold in our hands and argue about before it ever reaches you. The ones we're proudest of, we file design patents on — patent pending on select dispensers.
What you're choosing
Every design comes as a complete dispenser, in automatic with a touch-free sensor or manual with a classic pump. Once you own a body, you can buy covers on their own and keep changing it — that's how the whole thing is meant to work.

Every season we draw a brand-new silhouette. It's released once, and then it's retired — the year's covers don't come back.
